Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” Release Pushed Again

In what can be considered a setback to the movie industry’s hopes, the release of Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” has been moved. Again! Warner Bros. has pushed the release date for the highly anticipated movie for the second time due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of the most-awaited movies of 2020, Tenet was originally slated for July 17 release. Initially postponed to July 31, the release of the movie date is now scheduled to release in the theatres on August 12, 2020. Movie theatres across the world have been closed in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

“Warner Bros. is committed to bringing ‘Tenet’ to audiences in theatres, on the big screen, when exhibitors are ready and public health officials say it’s time,” a Warner Bros. spokesperson said in a statement. The spokesperson further added, “In this moment what we need to be is flexible, and we are not treating this as a traditional movie release. We are choosing to open the movie mid-week to allow audiences to discover the film in their own time, and we plan to play longer, over an extended play period far beyond the norm, to develop a very different yet successful release strategy. – Storage devices: Issues with external storage devices such as USB drives or external hard drives can also result how recover files on sd card in XML file corruption when files are being transferred or accessed. ”

Starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles, “Tenet” has been made on a whopping budget of $200 million. The high-octane action thriller follows an operative who has been tasked with preventing the next world war. The release date of Tenet has been closely watched by movie theatre chains around the world as the espionage thriller is expected to draw people back into the theatres after the long theatre closures because of the pandemic.

Warner Bros. also planned to re-release Christopher Nolan’s magnum opus “Inception”, in honor of its 10th anniversary, on July 17. The studio now postponed the re-release to July 31.

All the major exhibitors and theatre chains have already detailed stringent safety guidelines to keep the theatres clean once they open to the audiences in the coming months. The necessary measures include increased physical distancing, meticulous cleaning procedures, mandatory mask-wearing for patrons & staff and capping the attendance of the audience.
