Happens with you as well? But, can’t really help when there is so much interesting content out there right. And just like earlier months, this month too has a lot of exciting content in store for us.
October is bringing a wide array of new shows to binge-watch. The wait for new seasons of hit shows like ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Mirzapur’ will also come to an end this month and there are also some exciting new titles in tow. So without further ado, let’s check out the 5 notable shows that are releasing in October 2020.
1. A Suitable Boy – Netflix

The highly anticipated BBC adaptation of Vikram Seth’s celebrated book helmed by the one and only Mira Nair finally makes its way to a global release on Netflix. Tabu and Ishaan Khatter will play the protagonists in Mira Nair’s TV adaptation of Vikram Seth’s ‘A Suitable Boy’. The six-episode series will tell the story set in 1951 Independent India. A passionate literature student Lata Mehra is torn between her duty towards her family and her love life, as three different men try to woo her. The show aired on BBC earlier this year and is set to now release on Netflix.
2. Mirzapur season 2 – Prime Video

Everyone’s favorite gangster drama is back. Prime Video India’s flagship show returns for more revenge, action, violence, and of course…Pankaj Tripathi.
In Mirzapur, revenge runs darker than blood. There is one title, the King of Mirzapur, but many takers. Munna feels invincible after escaping the wedding massacre. Guddu and Golu are nowhere to be found. Akhandanand’s ambitions soar as he eyes political power. 3. The Mandalorian season 2 – Disney + Hotstar

When Disney and Hotstar decided to join hands, the first original series we saw coming out of that collaboration was ‘The Mandalorian’. And now, to make you realize how much time has just gone by while all of us are stuck in the lockdown, let us tell you that the second season of the show is here. It will continue to follow the Mandalorian and the Child’s journey, as they face enemies, rally allies, and make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
4. Next- Disney + Hotstar

If you’re somebody who believes that advanced technology will be the root cause of our doom, then you should watch this series. It tells the story of Silicon Valley pioneer Paul LeBlanc, who discovers that one of his own creations — a powerful A.I. called neXt — might spell doom for humankind. When he tries to shut down the project, he is kicked out of the company by his own brother. After a series of mishaps, Paul joins forces with Special Agent Shea Salazar, to become the only ones standing in the way of a potential global catastrophe.
5. Truth seekers- Prime Video

Simon Pegg. Nick Front. Need we say more? Truth Seekers is a supernatural comedy-drama following a group of part-time paranormal investigators. They team up to uncover and film ghost sightings from across the UK, visiting abandoned insane asylums and undiscovered World War 2 bunkers. However, as their spooky experiences grow more frequent they stumble across a terrifying conspiracy, one with deadly consequences.
